Wanted to give people some reviews on the cutting edge for the 25 creed.

Background.

Tikka t3x action
mdt xrs
24 in carbon six barrel 1-7.5 twist

COAL: 2.872 and 2.842
Jump was .02 and .05 for some. Ill explain in a sec

Cutting edge MTH 115 grn .257

I reloaded almost 4 diff powders now for this gun with not great results.

I loaded N150, H4350, varget, Ramshot hunter. Ik varget is a bit fast burning, but i wanted to just try it. No luck. N150 shot the best, but one day it shoot .5 moa the next 3 MOA at 100 yards.

Got great velocity for alot of it, however groups were super inconsitent. One day it would shoot .5 in the next 3 inch, thought it was my gun, until i started bringing 100 grn ttsx bullets as a control each time i went out and realized it was the bullets. I tried .02 jump for all the powders then .05 jump again with ok ish results. I was looking for a forgiving load, however it seems these cutting edge bullets are a bit finicky with what they like. They seem well made, and im sure people have good things to say about them, but for me and my barrel they just havnt been great out of the 25 creedmore. Was gonna try the hammer 107 HBC and curious if anyone has ran them in a 25 creed before.

I have tried cutting edges across 7 rifles now with zero success. Maybe their match style projectiles are better but the lazer and MTH has not worked for me. I also was not super impressed with their customer service when I was getting indents on the bullets after seating with .002” neck tension. I’ve recently been testing more hammers and mcguires with much better success; have not tried any of the 25 cal projectiles yet but McGuire does make one too.
