Anyone know of a good gunsmith to build a traditional bolt action rifle with a Mauser 98 action?

Looking for a smaller, one man operation that builds good quality, traditional style rifles. Not the snowy mountain rifles type companies.

Paul at Country Customs Metalsmithing is the man you're after, he is a hell of a craftsman, and really knows CRF guns. He did some amazing work on a Winchester in 300wby I was helping a friend out with.

Crescent Customs in Kansas City, Missouri. Tim “Moon” Roberts is your man… worked for GA precision but specializes in Winchester model 70s.

He did some work on my MRC and was great to work with.

Talk to Morris Melani at Alaska Arms and see who he suggests, I don't think he does full custom rifles. He does phenomenal custom machine work.
