Up for sale is a custom-built Remington 700ADL Varmint rifle in 223 with a factory 26” bull barrel made in June 2009. It should have a twist of 1x12 per Remington. I purchased this new in Juneau, AK where I lived at the time. Over the years I have had some custom modification done to the rifle, but never got around to shooting it as I have a number of varmint rifles. Somewhere in my move from Alaska to Virginia I lost the Remington box, but have the original paperwork. I had the cheap plastic Remington stock replaced with a Boyds laminated varmint stock and had the action pillar/glass bedded and the barrel free floated. An adjustable Kydex cheekpiece was also installed on the stock and the original trigger replaced with a Timney trigger. The trigger is very crisp and smooth but I do not know the poundage. A custom large tactical bolt knob and a steel ADL triggerguard were also installed. The stock was then custom painted in camo. The metal retains the original Remington black matte finish that appears to be the same as the Glock handguns, very hard and durable. The finish and the bore are perfect. I mounted a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm with a 30mm tube, matte finish, Varmint Hunters Reticle, Leupold scope cover and Butler Creek EYE/OBJ covers. Quick Detachable Weaver rings with two-piece mount are used. It comes with the original box and paperwork. I have more invested into the rifle than I am asking for it.

Must ship to an FFL and they must accept from a private person. Shipped is $950 and local pickup in Springfield, Virginia is $900. I accept cash, MO and personal checks. No trades or PayPal. Contact me with any questions.

I have never fired it. I am sure the factory did when it was first built. That seems logical, but it has never been fired since first sold. Wish I had the box so I could sell it brand new in the box, but I lost it.
