1970 Remington long action (originally 25-06)
Rifle built for me 1998 by Bobby Hart. RW Hart & Sons, Nescopek, PA Includes HART Accurizing Package.
H-S Precision stock with aluminum bedding block, free floated barrel, skim bedded in Bisonite.
Hart Rifle Barrels 24" (26" with muzzlebrake installed) stainless 1-10 twist, threaded muzzlebrake and thread protector when not using brake. 13-1/2” length of pull.
Action and barrel coated with Brownell's Aluma-Hyde II.
Rifle Basix adjustable trigger. Comes with Nikon Monarch 4-12 UCC scope, and a set of FL and Neck dies. Weight is just under 9lbs with this scope. Asking $1350 shipped to your FFL. A true nail driver of a rifle.

Outstanding cartridge! Have a wonderful 338-06 (not Ackley Imp.) chambered in a classic pre-64 Model 70. Shoots tiny groups and will be my go-to rifle for a planned elk hunt in Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains this fall. Recoil is manageable (30-06 like) without a muzzle brake. Any elk hunter (who reloads) would be well armed with this rig IMHO. Good luck with your sale.
