Custom Gunbuilder near Boise?

I am tossing around the idea of having a custom rifle built this year. Anyone know of any good gun smith's in the Boise area to trust with a custom build?

Lane Precision builds some really nice rifles, not cheap but certainly excellent builds. He is out of Pocatello so not sure if its close enough for you?

I have been using Soldier Mountain Arms in Twin Falls. He has built some very accurate rifles for me. Lone Peak actions and proof barrels for the most part is what he uses.

Do either of them work with customer supplied actions, or just with ones they source themselves?

You might want to check out MCM Firearms in Nampa. I haven't used them for any rifle work but I've done a lot of FFL business through them and they've always got some cool projects going on.

Or get out your check book, Dallas Lane and be done with it.
