Custom Gun Shelf

Ok so I have finally built a custom gun shelf. One that has wider spacing between guns so I can leave bolts in my guns and not have to play tetris trying to figure out what SWFA scope with the long knobs needs to go next to which other gun so they will fit. I have put magnets in the notches to help hold barrels in their place. I have also found some poly mat carpet and 77 spray adhesive on amazon. The only thing I am lacking is the edging for the shelves. Does anyone know where to find some. Vynil, leather or carpet is fine. Gray is prefered.

Anyone else got any other suggestions?

You could try a local trim shop that does car interiors. Not for a gun shelf but I’ve gotten remnants from a local one for other projects. Worth a try.

Velcro tape or felt weatherstrip. Another option is a spray rubber coating like Flexseal that stays soft after application.

That looks great. I need to do something similar and take the shelves out of the safe for more long gun storage.
