***SOLD*** pending funds

Well here goes. I’m selling my 6.5 PRC. This thing is an absolute tac driver. Built on a Defiance ANTI XM length action, with Defiance custom bottom metal (made by SunnyHill). It’s got a 21.5” Lilja #3, vortex fluted by Pro Precision Rifles, 5/8x24 threaded, and a Timed QD mount for TBAC. Manners EH3 stock, in the Elite Tac Swamp shell. Triggertech Special, set at a crisp 3lbs (adjustable). Barreled action and bottom metal have been cerekoted FDE to match stock. Built by Craig at Down Range Gun smithing in Sheridan, WY. Not a well known guy in the Rokslide style mountain rifle world, but he’s known in the African style classics world for building very accurate rifles, and boy did he deliver on this one!

Round Count: 190

Bare rifle is a hair over 6 Lbs, will verify later tonight

I currently have it topped with a Huskemaw 4-16x42, mounted up on Talleys. Scoped weight is 7lbs 13.1 oz

Im offering the reloading equipment to go with this rifle as a package. I’ve got absolutely top end everything for precision reloading already set up. Whoever buys this will be able to take over right where I left off. There’s a ton of time/value in components here. I have this thing shooting amazing, well under 1/2”MOA with 3 different powders, pushing 140gr accubonds in the 2900-3000fps range. I will send my Logbook with the rifle, so you’ll have access to all my load data. All the brass has been 1x fired, so it’s ready to FL size with .002 shoulder bump, and it should in theory get even more consistent.

Reloading Package:

1. Redding competition seating die
2. Redding type S FL sizing die with the appropriate sized bushing for .0015 neck tension
3. Sinclair Bullet Comparator Insert and Bump Gauge insert, appropriate sizes for 6.5 PRC
4. Redding Shell Holders 3x
5. LittleCrow gunworks case trimmer
6. 190 pieces of Norma brass, all fireformed (1x fired)
7. Custom modified case for Hornady OAL Gauge + Tool (Fireformed brass, shoulder bumped .002, drilled and tapped)
8. 2x Sinclair Polymer Reloading Blocks
9. Custom Length J. Dewey cleaning rod
10. Appropriate sized Bore Guide

Scoped Price: $4200
Bare Price: $3500
Reloading Package: $4,000
All-In: $4500

Shipped from my FFL to your FFL, unless you happen to be local in SW Montana. Rifle will ship in a hard case.

As you can see, H4831SC is a winner. I also worked up a load with H1000 that ran 2925fps, and around 10 ES. It was the first load I developed, but H1000 became impossible to get , so I moved on.

I looked over the rifle very carefully, and these are the only two blemishes I could find. The light makes that scratch look a lot worse than it is in person, and there’s a tiny ding in the cerakote finish on the barrel.

More photos inbound soon, including bare rifle weight. Sorry for the delays, I’m dealing with the constraints of a newborn and a 2 year old at home haha.

Jake, this is a GOOD LOOKING RIG! Did you end up selling it? Never saw the final prefix change. I’m also in SW Montana in Bozeman, can check it out in person?

It did sell, thanks! I forgot to lock up the thread. I may end up regretting getting rid of it, that was a really nice rifle
