CTR Fit in Bravo Chassis

I installed my CTR barreled action in my Bravo last night. I made sure the recoil lug and action were seated correctly and I torqued down action screws to 65 lbs.

Anyone see a gap like this between the CTR barrel and stock or is this normal? Magazine fits nicely and rounds chamber just fine.

no your action is not seated correctly in the stock. the hole on the side of your action should be almost flush with the stock.

I know that is the case with the factory stock, but are you sure about that with the Bravo?

Yes i am positive. I have a ctr in a bravo chassis

Care to share pics of your set up? The reason being I see a lot of pics online and the pressure relief hole is well above the stock line like mine pictured.

I guess it does sit higher up. For whatever reason i remembered it being flush. Ill check tommorrow again when i can get to my guns.

Yep I literally went to the garage, removed stock and reinstalled barreled action making sure barreled action is set with recoil lug.

I’m good.

I found a similar thread over on Sniper’s Hide. This is what a properly seated CTR action looks like in a Bravo chassis. I had it seated correctly. It’s just a different look with so much space around the bore.
