Crua tents

Any one have any expierence with these tents? Just saw them and looks interesting. Very overbuilt and insulated for comfort.

I bought the Crua Combo a year ago when they had a huge sale - I want to say it was $299 for both the Duo and Cocoon.

I liked the concept but The Duo weighed ~5lbs and the Coccon was ~15lbs ... A 2-person tent that was over 20 pounds just didn’t work for me. Not even for truck camping. I think they could really lighten up the Cocooon with different materials. For recreational camping, it could be great. YMMV. Good luck!

Cocoon seems like a luxury 4 season option. Do you feel that the duo compared to some of the higher end backpacking 2p tents?
