Cross eye dominate question

I am left handed/left eye. So naturally I grew up shooting right handed!?! I never really got the proper training And it shows.
While teaching my kids to shoot, right handed at first, I realized they were both cross dominant/right handed/left eye. I went through the painstaking ordeal of switching them. they were 11 and 13. Thank God I did. They both shoot shotguns great And now are very confident shooters. One has a LH gun the other a righty with left hand safety. Both work great. Definitely do the right thing and train them to shoot to eye dominance!

My dad had me shooting at a young age right handed. I shot from my teenage years until I was in my mid
forties ,when I changed my bow to a lefty. My left eye was always dominant and I've done everything left handed except for my bow and writing, which I was taught to do right handed. Took me a while to get used to a left hand bow but am shooting better than ever. I was able to have success ,but it is much easier for me as a left hand shooter
