A good friend of mine doesn't.

His body won't process it.

Which is incredibly sad.
Yes but he CAN'T eat bacon, which is completely different than being able to and choosing not to. He's forgiven. I'm sure he'll feel better knowing some random guy on the internet said so lol.

The annoying bit about this thread is that it shows how the population prefers their bacon. Chewy.

How's it served every time in a restaurant?
Crispy. Bs.

I had the worst experience at a Waffle house near Paducah KY in January. Quite hungover and thinking the Awful Waffle would deliver the goods on the way to bluegrass event in nashville. I had cheesy scrambled eggs , bacon, dark Waffle (well done) and coffee. The Waffle and eggs were edible. The bacon exploded when I touched it on its little plate. Literally bacon shards everywhere. None even big enough to pick up to put in mouth. I overheard the waitress complaining about her terrible life to another customer. She never came to ask how anything was or to refill my coffee. She brought the check and i gazed at the plate of uneaten bacon bits but she did not take the bait. I didn't bother to complain but I won't be going back for awhile. Will take some time for this wound to heal.

Chewy in a scramble or similar breakfast dish.
Crispy in a BLT or leftover cold

Sorry you had to go through that. Very hard thing to read and I found myself getting a little choked up at the end there. I think there might be a chapter meeting of CHEWYBAC in Paducah on Saturday nights where you can meet fellow sufferers helping each others process the trauma. Good luck to you my friend.
