Crispy or chewy?

Which is it for you, crispy or chewy bacon? I’m curious if I’m in the minority here, I like crispy…

But like a more ham like bacon in my pinto beans recipe

Only thick cut. Everyone who is anyone knows thin slice bacon cant ethically harvest breakfast. Thick cut has more wallop.

Not crispy, I like it where it has a hint of brown to it. But bacon isn't bacon unless it's thick cut.

Just checked and my supply is getting a bit low at 3-4 lbs. Time to procure a couple bellies. Running out of bacon is unacceptable.

I need to quit buying bacon and make mine again, just haven't had time. Some Jalapeño bacon sounds amazing.
