Would I be accurate in thinking that these boots were similar to each other in their respective line ups? In terms of stiffness.

From what I have read they provide a good enough amount of stiffness for possible early season hunts but I think they would also be good for my hiking days in North GA. I have tried on the Caminos at REI and thought they were pretty comfortable just walking around the store. For the Crispi Wyomings, I will not have the chance to try those on unless I just order them.

So, for those who have tried both...are the comparable? If I thought the Caminos were comfy, should I just pull the trigger on those?

I'm new to the boot game so my knowledge is limited!

I have not tried the Crispi Wyomings, but have a lot of experience with the Caminos. One thing to consider is the Caminos are noticeably lighter coming in at 3lbs-4oz for the pair compared to 3lbs-14.4oz. The camino is all leather whereas the wyoming has cordura fabric in places. These are just a few things to consider, but ultimately I would go with which one fits the best.

Is your experience with the Caminos positive? Can you clarify the pros and cons for the all leather vs. cordura?

I appreciate your help.

I love Lowa boots, the Caminos were not a hit with me however. They were ok but I moved to the Ticam II and they are better for me. I do own the Crispi Wyomings now but have not had a chance to put any miles on them yet other than trying them on.

The differenve between all leather and synthetic(cordura) is usually the breathability which should result in a cooler boot(synthetic). But in my experience this isn't always the case. boot design and waterproof liner can effect how cool the boot is or I should say how breathable it is.

One thing I noticed is I had to go a half size smaller in the Crispi compared to the Lowa. And it still feels like I have a little more volume in the forefoot with the Crispi but this isn't necessarily a bad thing for some.

Personally I think the Wyoming's are a tad stiffer than the Camino's mainly in the forefoot. Otherwise they are similar. Lowa boots do have better lacing systems than Crispi in my opinion but this really may not affect the overall fit and function that much.
