I don't have enough data to be reliable but willing to say "very probably" after spending a few months hawking for a deal on Crispi Idaho GTXs. Was averse to buying online but saw enough reviews to trust that Crispi's sizing reputation is consistent and reliable.Do they run true to size?
I'm trying to figure out why you are bashing Campsaver customer service for offering to send a new pair of boots to exchange for the ones with the bad laces. That isn't laughable customer service, that's offering to make it right, no questions asked. If that's their policy, that's their policy. Not really sure what you could want more than a company willing to correct a problem?Discount was great campsaver customer service ... not logical at all- laughable. My idaho’s showed up and got great hit one of the laces was really messed up. I sent customer service an email asking for a lace to be sent (along with a pic) they said to return the entire set of boots and they would ship a new set... I said that was goofy given the cost and they doubled down pointing me to the direction of their return policy or take it up with the manufacturer. So I contacted Crispi US - who didn’t haggle, pause or do anything other than ask where my address was so they could send me the laces. Class act Crispi! Campsaver ... not quite sure what to say to you on that ... May rethinking policy or at a minimum “think” ... 30-40 in shipping not to mention processing.
It was a matter of saying they can’t just send a pair of laces and save themselves money. Especially when I offered the cheaper solution. Wasn’t bashing just saying the logic gap is absurd... the cost to ship there and back vs send a pair of laces. As you need the help I will oblige ... 20 + 20 =40, laces plus shipping <20... good policy without real world common sense or consideration is the funny part- just another situation of doing what the manual says to a T vs thinking a little. . Customer service is working with the customer - it is not following a rule book that ignores customer input. It was a smoking deal though for great boots and Crispi made it right! I would do it again for the price- I just found it funny and was sharing ... not bashing.I'm trying to figure out why you are bashing Campsaver customer service for offering to send a new pair of boots to exchange for the ones with the bad laces.
