Crispi Nevada vs Salomon Quest 4 D

For what it's worth I have tried on Crispi Nevada's as well as Salomons(probably the quest), and the Crispi's have more toe width but both were narrow for my foot overall in D width. My feet measure to an E width.

I wore the 4D’s at work (LEO) and on the trail for training with 30-40 pounds of Pack weight. They are waterproof as t first, but it wont last.

I went with the Crispi Colorado boots and really lime them. I did try a pair of the Sheep Feet insoles and now the combo is great!

If i need a stiffer boot I bust out the Lowa “sheep hunters”.

The newest generation of salomon boots was a step back in my opinion. I would look at the last gen if you go that route.

I prefer Crispi, Scarpa and Lowa for daily use.

Have probably 3 or 4 sets of Salomon Quests but the original set from 6-8 years ago were awesome but the newer ones aren’t as comfortable. I’d wear any of the others over the Salomon’s.
