What are your thoughts on the Idaho 3s vs Lapponia Pros? They both look good but the Idaho is heavy and taller (similar to kenetrek) but seems to have the wide toe box i like in pics

I have a pair of altitudes, they dont fit well toes are to tight.

I have salomon quest 4s (have had them blow out in the past and they dont last me long) I have a pair of kenetreks that are awesome but somewhat heavy.

I have run rhe Idaho 2s the past 5ish years? They are awesome. In fact I use them in the summer on backpack fly fish trips. I blew my Achilles out a few years back. They protect it well. Stiff but not 2x4 stiff.

I run the Lapponia lites the past few years as my daily drivers. Super comfortable. Just stiff enough. I bird hunt in them a lot. They have held up great! Way more durable than the Salomons, as mine only lasted one hunt.

Do you think that the idahos are a little overkill to use as a Midwest whitetail boot and early elk?
