Wanting to condition/waterproof my Laponias II. I have a "jar" of the cream, but I was wondering if I need to use the spray instead?

Either way, can I apply the cream or spray to the entire boot since it's all different mattierals?

I should have been specific. I have the crispi cream boot conditioner. Comes in a little tub with a sponge to apply it.

Spray just never seems to last very long on any of my boots.
Lowa, Zamberlan, Meindl, Hoffman, Scarpa, Crispi all seem to do better with the cream.

Does the spray change the color of the leather?
Both crispi products, spray and cream, will darken the leather compared to when new. For my lapponia's I've been using the cream on the leather first and then the spray on the synthetic uppers. The cream penetrates and hydrates the leather much better than the spray. It gets a little bit of the overspray when I'm treating the synthetic material but leather is like skin, you want to moisturize it with the cream regularly.

So 2nd pair of leather Chrispi boots. Love them, water never gets in these things and I've never even conditioned them. IWith this new pair, Chrispi water proofing cream good to keep them soft and new looking or is there a better cream?
