Crispi insoles

I have a pair of the Crispi Guide boots that I have about 80-90 miles on so far using both the Crispi insole and the Superfeet orange insole. In the Lowa Tibet Hi and Meindls the orange Superfeet has worked great for me but not much in these newer Crispi Guides. What is everyone else using for insoles in their Crispi boots? The factory insoles leaves a bit to be desired but it's what I am back to using until finding a better insole for thee boots.

I have insoles from Enertor. Newish, not known if but they are the best insoles I’ve used, for me. I have every superfeet insole, and they weren’t that good I didn’t think. I have a couple lathrop and sons insoles and I was happy with those. But I met the enertor guys and they gave me a pair of their “performance” line and they are fantastic and so far the best I’ve been able to get my hands on.

If u can try and explain why the superfeet orange do not work in these boots for ya it may help us guide you.

Also if the ones you are using are old insoles do break down and need replaced.
I'm using the Sole black. Basically the same shape as the superfeet but the base is full length and they have more foam so it takes up more room in the boot, I need that because I have lean feet.

Size 10 Guides and I'm using Spenco Total Support insoles. These boots seem to have a lot of heel volume and these do help some what. The boots just seem to have a little too much heel volume for my feet.

Tried to reply to the thread a couple times but doesn't seem to be posting, I will try again.

When using the Superfeet Orange I was getting a hot spot on the top of the arch support on the insole. As I mentioned these insoles work great for me in Lowas and Meindls so I am thinking part of the issue is due to how the Orange fit in the Crispi Guides. These were a new pair of insoles that I tried. For the time being I am back to using the Crispi insoles. Might try to find a store that sells several brands of insoles and will let customers try them out.
