Anybody have any experience with these scopes, in particular the 4-16x50 FFP version? It seems to check a lot of boxes: FFP, decent reticle, mil, illuminated, made in Philippines, weight ~25oz. The windage isn't capped, though. I read that CT may have taken over the Nikon factory in the Philippines. This scope seems eerily similar to the discontinued Nikon Black FX1000.

I just picked up a series 5, it was made in Japan. Excellent so far. mil. ffp. CT discontinued them? I think the Hardline is the replacement? big diffrence in price.

I had a problem with the magnification ring on a CT series.. They said to destroy it and they would send a replacement.

I had a hard time destroying the CT and ended up having to take a dremel to the lenses. Built like a tank.

I have a couple CT Hardline Pros. Great scopes. I have the same one that you posted above but in MOA and it is excellent on my Christensen Ridgeline Scout .308. Highly recommend. I also have a Hardline Pro Carbine 4-16x42 for sale in the classifieds. It is a great scope too SFP with BDC calibration for 556. The only reason that I decided to sell, is that I put a thermal scope on that rifle. There is a lot of bang for your buck with these scopes!
