Well I’ve been holding out because I didn’t see magazines anywhere. But now I have no excuse.

Add to my list of things my wife will give me for Christmas but doesn’t know it yet
i feel like i might need to put a post out saying im not responsible.. lotta guys saying that, making me nervous to go out in public I might get wacked by an angry house wife with somebodys new 6.5 prc tikka or Sauer 100.. Lol

Same need more 6.5 creedmoor mags. Going to shoot mine tomorrow with 5 or so different bullets with only one mag!

Anybody know what the torque specs are for mounting to the receiver on a 100? There's nothing in the manual and can't find it on the internet. Even the scope rings sauer offers doesn't have any information. I'm assuming they want you to buy their product and that information is only on the packaging.

I have no idea. I went ahead and had my gunsmith drill and tap to 8-40 for a more robust mount. 30 in/lbs no problem with the 8-40. Be scared to go over 25 with the 6-48

Yeah im taking it in to get the barrel cut and threaded, maybe I'll look into that. Crazy that they specifically say not to over tighten in the manual but don't give you what specs to use. But in the same paragraph tell you they recommend using their scope rings. Kinda like they want to strong arm you into buying their product.

I torqued mine to 25 inch/lbs.

Promising accuracy so far. Bore-sighted, five shots on the first target (I know it only looks like three), corrected than five shots on the second target. Then straight to gongs at 300, 400, and 500 yards. It is super easy to see your shots with this setup.

Sauer 100
6.5 creedmoor
Swfa 3-9
Omega 300
Factory Hornady 120 eldm

Copied this over from another thread really liking my 6.5 creedmoor so far shot it yesterday.

I am really happy with this for $399. Everything fed well to. Recoil is perfect with a suppressor. Trigger is really nice. I shot this inbetween some other training so this was on a magpul bipod with a rear bag prone quick and in a hurry. If I have the time I may try again friday hopefully slower less rushed pace. Both 5 shot groups were well under a inch at 3 shots.

.4 in - 140 aac sabre (sst) 3 shot

.7 in - norma 140 bondstrike 3 shot

1.1 in - berger 130 otm 5 shot

1.3 in - 125 win xp 5 shot

.8 in - 147 eldm 3 shot

1.8 in - 143 eldx 3 shot in a hurry gun hot
