CPW looking for sharpshooter volunteers for San Luis Valley

I can see their point. I've seen people take forever to line up a shot.

I have yardage and MOA marks on my scope dials. I leave them set at 200, dial the yardage on closer shots out to 400 or so. Past that I'll use the ballistics app and MOA if there is time. I'm more of a long range practice shooter than a long range hunter though, I like to be within 400.

Their dates for the qualification were not favorable. That Oct 9th date is going to fill up quick
My only options last night were 9/26, 10/5, and 10/6.

That's a good idea! If I go I'll just pre-dial to one of the distances and let the pink rifle sling those 85gr hammers.
:)

I'm still waiting for them to offer the bow qualification testing for these cow shoots. Just turn me loose for a month, and then I'll call them when there are elk down and ready to pick up.
