CPW and lies over cattle vs wolf reimbursement

Predator reintroduction and protection are a weapon against farmers. The article is fair and the photos revealing. I don't understand why there's an investigation. If it's a cat, coyotes, pack of dogs, it shouldn't matter. Agriculture is so enmeshed with government at this point they should be considered responsible for everything or back the F off. This isn't nomadic shepherds who don't even know whose land they're on.

That seems to be SOP for the side in control. A friend here in Montana stopped ranching cattle all together because the wolves were killing so many calves and the verdict was always "inconclusive " so he never saw any reimbursement for the fallout of their pet project.

Sounds like the Colorado Cattle Raisers Association ( or whatever they call it if they have one) need to hire their own expert to refute the crooks at the state level

Only thing I would question is the state person saying a bear or cougar could not take down a 180# calf but a wolf could?

Go figure a dishonest government agency. Pretty much the default these days!

They have been getting away with it so long it’s just habit at this point!

Times are changing though!

600 plus k for wolf depredation, they should bill the folks who voted for it directly!

It's not bad science it's biological warfare.
I meant that to mean, manipulated Science- Hack studies designed to confirm their political ideology.

there is absolutely no justification for introducing Wolves into a high density are like Colorado. Wolves have proven to be uncontrollable, expensive and with many unintended BAD consequences. 3 strikes.

On the other hand, Hunting has proven to be a perfect way to target the control of various animal populations....with the added benefit of license and tag fees along with protein to feed families- a triple win.
