Anyone do any predator calling in heavy timber? I don't have alot of open fields but alot of predators

Better luck at night with a thermal. Problem is coyotes will take advantage of cover and get downwind. I use a Foxpro and typically stick to vocals at short intervals.

It is difficult. Like you, we have an established population. Kill more incidentally while deer hunting than specifically targeting them. They wise up quick also

If I'm not night hunting over fields I'm in the woods calling. Deer trails work well for me, but it can be tough with the wind. Shotgun with BB or buckshot.

Following, planning on targeting them in the timber here in MD post deer season. From the little I've done, them getting down wind in the bottoms is definitely a problem.
