Coyote Den near Whitetails

A lot of coyotes in NE KS. Last deer season I saw coyotes chasing deer twice, both does and young bucks. I've seen it before that also. This year I was watching a doe and fawn from my living room window, noticed a coyote a few feet away in the trees, momma doe charged at it and it ran off. I think they're the biggest threat to fawns and sick/injured deer. I don't think a healthy mature deer has anything to worry about.
