I know this is a long shot but I killed my first elk last fall (cow) and did a euro mount on the skull. While drying my dog ate the nose bones off the skull. I’m hoping by chance someone could help me replace them. I’ll gladly pay for shipping and I’ll clean and bleach them if anyone happens to run across a cow dead head.

Are you looking for a full cow skull or try to patch up the one you got? Looking at the skull it may not be too terribly tough to patch the top side of the skull? I find a few cow elk skulls that are left in the field...and can keep an eye open. You may also be able to start a wanted add on the taxidermy.net forum. I'm sure it wouldn't take long for you to get a response there.

I am looking to patch the one I have as best as I can. Thank you for the advice.

The chunk that is missing on top can almost be pulled off after boiling so you can likely replace that area pretty easily with a replacement skull approximately the same size. I can't really tell from the picture where the bottom is broke off.

That is correct, I’m just looking for the the 2 nose pieces that can be glued back in. I’m not worried about the underside palate area.

My dog did the same thing about 5 years ago to a bull I was doing. He jumped a fence to get to it. He has passed now and I never fixed it so probably just be a memory of the pup now.
