Wow, nice work.....are they as sharp as people say?

The claim is Obsidian can be sharper than scalpels as it can be knapped to one molecule thick.
Yes, the edge of an obsidian flake is the sharpest edge known. About 3 nanometres wide and smooth. Even the sharpest steel will be jagged and saw tooth like at a microscopic level. However this edge is very fragile. It gets its sharpness from its brittleness.

The edge of an arrow head or knife is left more stout to handle abuse.

If you ever get a chance to use a stone knife, their effectiveness will amaze you.
