Recently I have been checking the clearance clothing section at Costco. I must say have found some great deals recently. Last Thursday we went to Costco and I happened to check the clearance table they have of clothing. I found the Orvis tech pants on clearance for $7 size 32x32. They also had a last pair of the Orvis fleeced pants as well for $9 this one normally sells for 25.99 I believe and the regular tech pants sells for $17.99 normally. Needless to say I went to return the tech pants I purchased 2 weeks ago to get a credit and will keep the ones I found on clearance.

If the price changed on smething you bought and its a lot cheaper you can go to customer service and they will refund you the difference. You don't even need a receipt because whatbyou bought is saved on your account from them scaning your card on checkout. Happened to me with a TV a couple years ago (electronics price change has to be within 90 days i think though)

I am getting old I feel like the majority of my clothes comes from Costco these days. I too love the clearance section haha

Last month I bought (3) 32 Degree vests in the clearance area for $5 each. Earth tones, 4 way stretch polyester, all YKK zippers. Comparable features to name brand items at a fraction of the cost.

After using the 32 synthetic puffy theres rly no reason to shell out big bucks for a synthetic insulation layer. If I splurge it will be for quality down

Yes, when there is a price change customer service can credit you back the difference over the phone or inside the store. When you purchase the pants for $17.99 and two weeks later they have the last 2 pants left on clearance in the entire store and one happens to be my size :) Bet for sure I’ll be returning the ones that cost more and purchasing the ones on clearance for $7. One thing I’m not sure about is if when items are on clearance I don’t think they can credit you the price difference like you mentioned above. If it is a price change yes you can ask for the adjustment. When the item is on clearance and they have their last set I’m not sure. In this case you might need to return the original and then purchase the one on clearance.
