Copper spur hv ul2 vs Nemo dragonfly 2p

I’ve been on the fence between these two. I know there are other options but I have narrowed it down to these. Anybody have a reason to go one way or the other? This would be for 1st rifle elk season in Colorado, generally .

I have the 1 person copper spur and love it. I also have a seed house that’s about 15 years old. A few years ago I camped on a ridge with crazy winds and broke the poles, not the tents fault totally mine. I called BA and they sent me new poles for free. The tent was out of warranty and I told them what happened, no BS. I was expecting to pay for new poles.

Awesome company in my experience.

I set up both of these tents side by side in REI. I also tried an REI and MSR. After trying all four, I bought the Copper Spur. I didn't like the floor material on the Nemo. It felt like it was clinging to me and snagging on my clothes when I moved around. That's just my opinion though. The Nemo uses slightly thicker material than the Copper Spur in some places. Both tents have good height and livable space compared to their competitors.

Both are great tents and very comparable. I liked them better than several of their competitors.

I've been running the BA Copper Spur HV UL2 on my September backcountry archery elk trips the last 2 years. Very happy with it. Plenty of room for one person, nice having 2 vestibules for storage. Make sure you use a footprint.

I sent my copper spur back after one weekend,while very nice it was just to fragile for me,both vestibule zippers got hung up,I had to rip one loose.While i knew you had to be gentle it just wasnt for me.I even had a new hvul3 i bought for me and my wife that was new and i sold it and ordered a xmid 2.
