Anyone here use his service? I don't reload and his price for match grade ammo is cheaper then the cheapest option at Cabelas. He is sending me load pack #1 for my .300 wsm. This consist of 5 different 5 shot loads to see what shoots best, so 25 round for $55. Then we'll do load pack #2 where he takes the best shooting setup from load pack #1 and is further refined with seat depth and different grains of powder to see what is best.

Once we have a load narrowed down he will load it for me for $39.99 for 20 rounds or I'll have all the data to reload that round.

Or if you don't want to do the load packs he will sell you the standard test load he has for your cal, which for .300 wsm is $39.99. I believe price will vary by cal.

I'll let everyone know what I think when done. His website is www.coppercreekammo.com

Here is a quick review of his standard ammo for the 6.5 cred. http://www.accuracy-tech.com/review/copper-creek-cartridge-company-6-5cm-123amax/

The owners name is Josh and the guys from GA precision recommended him to me.

Please keep us posted. I'm looking to get into reloading as well and this looks like a good option to save a little

Thanks
Colby

If you don't like doing load development this is a good way to go.
Personally I find it cheaper to do my own load development.

Haven't had a chance to test it out yet but what I found is you do not get the secret recipe once done. I've decide to get back into reloading after a few unexpected gifts so I'm just going to do my own development now but if you don't reload I think this will be a great way to find that perfect round.

I'll still let everyone know my results but will only be doing the 1st load pack. I will say he was quick to deliver.

I buy almost all of my ammunition from Copper Creek. It is quality. I have purchased .260, 7 WSM, .308, and 6.5 SAUM from Josh and have been impressed by everything from the packaging to the performance. You will NOT be disappointed.

Dotman,

Please clarify, if you do not get "the secret recipes" then are you stuck with purchasing ammo from Copper Creek for the life of the gun? I was seriously considering going the Copper Creek route, but it makes me nervous to be hamstrung to just custom loads by CC.

However, I guess if I do not get into reloading then I could just do his test packs, find the load my new rifle performs best with and purchase a few hundred rounds from them.

Lots to consider.

That is correct no secret receipe is provided. For the price of his ammo once your testing is done I don't think you can go wrong if you don't reload.

I just got a $100 gift certificate for Copper Creek yesterday. Not sure what I'll use it on I wish I could just buy components!

This is not 100% accurate. Copper Creek will give you the load data after you purchase 100 rds of their ammo.

I use Josh at Copper Creek for my ammo. It’s quality, ships immediately, and the load packs are good. I’ve dialed in my 6.5 using the load packs. I’d buy confidently from him.
