Need to use a pic rail on my Cooper. I’d use the Cooper supplied pic bases but they’re too far apart for rings to correctly cradle my scope’s main tube. I bought a Talley pic rail, but it’s pretty thick, thicker than the Cooper bases, and will add scope height which I’d rather not do. What other rails might be a better choice for the Cooper. What’s your Cooper experience with rails? Thanks.

I used Ken Farrel rails and Rings on both of my Cooper model 52s. Very good quality, and you can get aluminum to save weight if you call them. Their rail is taller than average, but his ring heights match the rail and you can keep your scope nice and low if that’s what you want. I would share some photos, but I’ve sold both of those rifles.

I had a custom Murphy Precision rail made for mine. Pricey but nice.
