Coolers that fit in pack?

Hey all, wanted to see if anyone might have a suggestion for a small cooler that would fit inside a pack. Looking for something for scouting trips and work to keep food separate and cold!

Walmart sells good coolers that easily fit inside a 5,000 cubic inch or larger packframe bag.

Hey all, wanted to see if anyone might have a suggestion for a small cooler that would fit inside a pack. Looking for something for scouting trips and work to keep food separate and cold!

How big? I just ordered the RTIC side pack deluxe a few minutes ago… it looks pretty small though, but it’s going to be handy for something… and it was on sale, haha

I’m thinking I will use it fishing, like a mini bait cooler for chasing summer steelhead in the heat… hard to keep bait in good shape when it’s 85*

just get a softsided cooler from walmart, take the plastic liner out if it has one. put it in a garbage bag if there are things that can leak and throw it in you bag. It'll conform to your bag size or around anything you have in the pack itself. Doesn't have to be fancy or complicated.

During covid we got locked out of all the state ran lakes in California. I used to do this in my SG avail and hike in from the road. The bass were hungry and plentiful without guys fishing. I would just bleed them and throw in that cooler. Hiking out of there with 10 spotted bass is like a small deer quarter lol
