Controlling loose pack straps

I used the nomad this past season and I didn't personally find them to be that bad. The nomad has velcro straps to role the main strap into, so the tag ends aren't all that long if you keep them rolled up. It basically serves the same purpose of the product you linked.

I purchased a bag of the wide, black, rubber bands (for lack of a better term), that Stone Glacier sells, and they have worked out well for me. Nothing sucks more than getting slapped in the eye from a loose pack strap.

I actually do own and use Web Dominators on some of my packs. I think they work extremely well, plus they make me look younger than my years. :D

I have made ranger bands out of a bicycle inner tube cut in the size I want . It works well. Basically it is like the SG Web bands
I have also been know to roll them up and tuck them in. And yes I am that guy that twists the bread bag up and tucks it under.

There's no problem with the extra lenght of straps on the nomad. I love mine. And it come with Velcro strips so you roll the extra up.
