considering a solus chassis...which size?

I'm spending $ I don't have on sales...I am considering a Solus Chassis and was curious if on which to order 15" or 17"

Barrel going on will probably be 24-26" for now but very likely will be chopped down after I get bored with it. Purpose will be 95% target/steel/rocks with 5% hunting from a vantage point.

If you absolutely object to a Solus please explain why and PM something in a similar price range (currently both are less than $550 shipped)

Seems like a nice chassis for the $. I'd get the longer fore-end. More flexibility for rests, weight adding/balancing, and mounting bipod further forward which adds a little stability and leaves more real estate for resting on bags/packs/etc with bipod attached.
