The lady said she has a walking foot attachment for it and that it can be used with 1 needle.That's a double needle, needle feed machine. You can set it up to use a single needle, but overall--especially considering the value the seller is putting on it--it will be a big compromise for what you're looking to do with it.

I think I'll just wait. Can get it for $450 if you're interested in it....Personally, I would wait. It's a nice machine though (I wouldn't mind having one of those I my collection).
If you do decide to buy or work for it, plan on buying a gauge set for a more useful 1/4" or similar needle spacing. You will have to retime the hooks when you do that.
