I ran in to BP in middle of big big ranch, He was on foot on a track. First thing he looked at was our boots, Apparently there was a big shoot out night before and he was on trail of one of the ones that got away. Gave him some water and he was off again, but not before telling us to be extremely careful. Things that you don't here about on the news.

This was several years ago before all of the stuff going on now. I can just imagine how bad it is now.. I've seen illegals several times down south but that was the only time I've seen the bad guys come through. I'm thankful they didn't see me. Things might not have worked out in my favor..

Plan on running into illegals, all their trash and drug runners. Lots of helicopter activity. BP plain clothes team may be rolling down roads in unmarked vehicles getting out & looking in trucks based on prior experience...so check you target! Depending on how close you get to border, dismounted bortac teams occasionally. Let's put it this way the only time I have seen warden wearing full up plate carrier and carrying AR with her at all times setup like she practices and knows how to run it. I have bumped into something or someone now at least a half dozen times. Buddy had truck stolen out of phx. BP found it later seats, dash lights ripped out so they can run blacked out pushing loads over the border. All sorts of fun out there. My wife hates it when I go there and she only hears about half the stuff!
