If you have a Sportsmans Warehouse near you, they always have primers in stock because they keep them behind the gun counter and ration them. 1 brick per customer per day limit. It used to be 2 sleeves per day. They increased it because inventory was stacking up. It's a pain to take a number and wait but at least you rarely leave empty handed.

That said, large rifle primers go like lightning, and large magnum primers go even faster.

A guy I work with occasionally had to leave work early one day. The next day I asked why he had to leave early his response was, "shipping truck dropped off a pallet of 22lr I had to unload it with my skidsteer". Crazy ass bought 100k of his favorite target ammo so he doesn't run out.
And that’s how its done. Simple solution to not having what you want to have.

When was the last time anyone saw Magnum LR primers on shelves or even available on Midway/Brownells/Midsout/PV for longer than 10 minutes (and let’s be real it’s often 2)?

The whole rokslide community (and maybe spreading beyond that) is hunting with 223- they won’t be able to give those large rifle magnum primers away soon.

I bought 4 bricks back in 2022. Luckily I don’t blast away all that much with magnums so I should be set for awhile.

Just the other day I was thinking I should just set up everything to load for my 375 and just load rounds until I run out of components then I’d probably never need to worry about 375 again in my life.

I think I’ll focus on shooting mostly .223 for the foreseeable future and save the creedmoors for game time. So much cheaper to shoot
