I just purchased a CVA hunter in 243 for my boys to start shooting this year. It fits my oldest fine , but it a little long LOP for my next 2 boys. I'm having a hard time finding aftermarket options for it since the scout has replaced the hunter. Any one know of some one that make an aftermarket compact stock? Or if the scout parts will fit the hunter? I've also considered putting a saw to it as a last resort.

I found a 3d model for the scout and I have access to a printer at work. Has any one printed a stock before? What filament do I need to use?

Was able to print the model and it came out pretty good. Going to fit it up tonight.
Next step is to purchase a buffer tube and stock. Preferably something that's pretty adjustable with cheek piece and soft pad since I'll have all 3 boys shooting it.
I saw the luth ar , but Looking for suggestions on how not to spend 200 bucks to accomplish this.

What kind of printer do you have? I would be looking to print glass filled nylon if you can, fiberon pa6gf is a good balance of strength to price and printed pretty well with a hardened setup. I have a lower that has hundreds of rounds on it still going.

There are some cheaper ones that adjust you can check gun broker or optics planet for the 50-90$ ones, at around 100$ you could check out guntec, you really do get what you pay for, I have a prs lite I got on sale+vet discount, it's fantastic albeit a tad heavy, but it comes with the territory.
