Combining Elk and Bear

Keep in mind the seasons don’t completely line up. It is frustrating that the seasons don’t align.

I've done it twice in Colorado and filled both tags both times.the key is to get a bull down within the first couple of days and come back a couple of days later and sneak in from above during the afternoon.both years I killed a bear on the first time stalking down to the elk carcass.I found it was pretty easy to get in close with a consistent afternoon thermal and the bears were busy feeding
