I am thinking of selling my Colt Trooper 357. Serial # 788XX. Has some signs of holster wear, but it would easy clean up very nice. I also have 500 rounds of never fired handloaded ammunition. Speer nickel brass loaded with H110 pushing hornady XTPs.

I was wondering if anyone knew more information about these guns. I have read a fair amount online and it seems a little confusing. This gun has a 4inch barrel but I have no clue how to decipher the whole transfer bar firing pin stuff.

Thanks for any help!

I am wanting to sell this Revolver or trade for reloading setup. Would prefer to move the revolver and ammo at the same time but willing to separate.

This blued original Colt Trooper .357 Magnum has serial number (788XX) indicates a 1968 date of manufacture. It has a 4-inch barrel and also features an adjustable rear sight and checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. A 46-year-old Trooper in this condition is truly a rare find. Photos can be emailed.

PRICE: 550.00 for Revolver with leather holster. 900.00 with ammo.

bought a nib colt gold cup in the mid 1970's when the hunt bro's were cornering the silver market. gave 17.60 of silver coin for it. he also had a nib python 6' for the same deal. wifey just frowned at the thought of me buying two guns together. one of those 'kick myself' deals that went on down the road.that trooper is a thing of beauty as well, may want to double check with self on parting with it.

I rather not part with it, but I never use it, and I am more of a "practical" guy. If I don't use it, then I generally feel like I don't need it. Not really a collector. Need cash for reloading, and my current rifle build.

Thanks guys!
