Colorado/Wyoming prairie dogs.

I'm gonna be in Ft. Collins over thanksgiving and want to shoot some prairie dogs but have no idea where to go. If somebody could just point me in the right direction it would me much appreciated.

Check out the Pawnee Grasslands. It's public and I'd imagine it's filled with dogs. I live near there and have permission to shoot dogs on some private property. I'd be happy to take you with me but unfortunately I'll be out of town. If I was headed to Pawnee I would bring a tripod to shoot off of. There's parking areas and a few public roads you can drive down to save your legs. Lots of Pronghorn out there as well.

The shirley basin north of medicine bow wy has a bunch, would be a drive though. Some state land north of chugwater has them too.
