A citizen initiative got enough signatures to put it on the ballot about 4 years ago. It passed by the barest of votes (50.5 to 49.5). It directed CPW to stock grey wolves. That's why they are doing it. There is a petition going around to get it back on the ballot which will nullify the one that passed.,

I've often wondered what margin for error should be considered in these votes, not from a tinfoil hat perspective, but from a purely analytical standpoint. A 1% margin shouldn't be enough to create and determine policy.

Absolutely, it’s funny if it was an amendment to the state constitution then it has to win by a majority in every county, might even have to be like a 60% majority, but for a law it is a simple majority so if it passes by 1 vote, it passes…
