Colorado trad hunt for’26

I’m looking to burn my 6 points for an archery elk hunt this September. I would be grateful for any unit recommendations. A diy or drop camp would be my preference. There’s a pretty good chance that I’ll be hunting muleys in WY at the beginning of September. If so, then I’ll plan to take a week to recover and then head out for elk.

I would suggest buying a copy of the preference point edition of Colorado outdoors magazine and see the elk numbers and draw success rate before making a final decision on anything. Should be coming out January to February.
