Was working on putting in for Utah this morning and thought I should look at Colorado. Pulled up my preference points and Sheep were 0. Oh crap, what happened. Looked at draw results and it appeared that I had a sheep tag. Called Colorado Parks and Wildlife and they confirmed a tag. They said to check your email. What a novel thought. So after a long time applying in lots of States, I finally have a sheep tag in a unit that I know nothing about. Talked to an outfitter and planning on going that route.

Awesome! I hunted there in 2016 with Lobo Outfitters. It's a great unit, lot's of fun touring around above timberline and glassing for sheep. I'm jealous many fond memories! Cheers!

Guided. I know nothing about the unit and live the better part of a thousand miles from the unit. Talked to a couple well qualified outfitters today. Going to be a little altitude acclimation coming from 1300 ft above sea level.

Just start training now and maybe come out a little early and you will be fine. It’s an awesome wilderness hunt.

Congrats! Mark your calendar on June 21 for the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society Sheep and Goat Hunter Meet & Greet. Registration opening soon at: https://www.bighornsheep.org/meet-greet/

We will have dozens of experienced Colo sheep a goat hunters on hand to provide unit specific info to help you hit the ground running with your scouting and hunt planning.
Last year we had close to 300 folks on hand for an incredible half day of hunters helping hunters!

We also have our annual RMBS Rendezvous on May 17th. Will be over 500 sherp nuts on hand.

Both are can’t miss events for new minted sheet tag holders!
