Colorado/Rokslide camping trip

that is off 285 in bailey someplace right. do you have an exit or name of the gas station? or is it the only gas station in Bailey. I usually blow right through there.

Anybody interested in hiking in later in the evening Saturday? I could be at the TH about 6:30-7pm. With a light load we should be able to find the rest of the gang shortly after dark. I talked with Aron and he suspects there will be space available for a couple late comers in one of the shelters they are taking in.

Being that we will be coming in late and missing out on the Tipi setup and firewood gathering we will need to hang out to help get the shelters taken down and help get them packed back to the TH.

I might be man! I get off work at five. So that would put me there around 7 I think. I also have a megatarp and woodstove.

Just tried Lost Park Road today and it is drifted about half mile off the highway. Might not be passable, just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Too bad I work weekends! I live close to that area. I would definitely bring snowshoes just in case. I went exploring the taryalls last week & got the jeep stuck about a mile back. They've had fresh snow since then and lots of wind.

I am going to have to bail. Had a bad deployment of code last night and will have to be by my computer this weekend in case the system goes down again.

Just so we're all on the same page....

We're meeting at the gas station on the west side of crow hill in Bailey at 10:00 AM. I believe it's a Conoco and there's a car wash beside it.

If anyone one is heading up later in the day, we will post up our final destination/trail head after we meet at 10.

Feel free to call me with any questions. 720-937-1418

Nice the wife and I camp at Wellington a lot in the summer. Beautiful lake and the Castle is a nice hike up. You guys have fun looking forward to the Photos.
