Colorado Lurker

I'm a 32 year old avid fisherman, but new hunter in Colorado. I bought my first rifle last summer and harvested a cow elk last fall. From the planning, to the hunt itself, to butchering and cooking, I've loved every aspect and know I'll be a lifelong hunter and can't wait for fall(and next weekend to get skunked on turkeys one more time this season)

I have been a lurker for a while as a newbie without input to offer. But I've gained lots of great info and hope to contribute as my experience grows!

And there's a scope in the classifieds that I have my eye on(get it?) So I guess it's time to get my posts up!
