Sorry I missed this. I ended up killing a youngish Billy on the second day. The country is amazing. It was a great hunt.

Congrats. Did you get much weather variation during your hunt?

 

[cornstalker]

Yes. By the hour. Layers were on and off constantly as it switched from blazing sunshine to scattered snow showers and graupel. On day four of the hunt, they got over a foot of snow above 12k. I was solo, and admit that the incoming weather was a driver in my decision to shoot.

I got drawn for first season this year! Super excited and couldn’t believe it. I would love any pointers. I have two young kids, under 3, so need to make it count. Any advice would be appreciated greatly .
