Ordinarly my response to this would be, if it is permitted, I would do it if I wanted. However, right now I agree with you 100%. I dont think there is a way to have any kind of a safe fire in many parts of the state. The last thing we need right now is more fires further stressing resources and endangering folks.

A new fire just broke out near Ward.
Bombers and helicopters been hammering the last hour.
Flight path is directly over my house, can see lots of smoke, too.

Please people, no god damn fires.

I love a good campfire as much as anyone but please just dont do it even if its not restricted in your area. We spent all summer breathing smoke and its still incredibly dry pretty much everywhere.
