My dad and I are hoping to head west next year for elk eyeing up units 67,69, or 48. either muzzleloader or first rifle. we currently have 8 points, and are looking for some advice on outfitters. Any help is welcome. Hoping for a great hunt as it will probably be my father's last trip out there

Most of the good outfitters are booked up for several years, but you could probably get on a wait list. Steve West at Steve's Outdoor Adventures books hunts in just about every state in the West. He has quite a few shows on the Outdoor Channel and they are also seen on YouTube. He took over the hunts at the Quinlan Ranch in Chama New Mexico when it sold. Seems like a decent guy but I have never hunted with him. Good Luck!!
