I burned my CO NR points this year on a second season hunt. I took this great bull on day five. Got lucky on the pack out. Had two friends show up to help and we followed an almost level creek bottom a mile out to the road. Got everything out in one trip. I used my 8mm Rem Mag with a 200 gr Partition. Heart shot at 225 yards. He ran about 80 yards and I was about to shoot him again when he stopped, wobbled, and crashed to the ground with a loud whoomp. I did about 6 miles a day of hiking in beautiful country, mostly 10,000 to 11,000 feet elevation. What a great hunt.
