No just means you have a deer tag on file - could be 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice.

I'm showing a "590" code for deer too but no big surprise there since I had more points than needed to pull the tag.

Same to you! Heading east of 25 to chase plains mulies for the first time. Almost tried for a unit down in your neighborhood - I went to Wasted State down there and have been looking for an excuse to head back that way.

Go to the license purchasing system and log in. Then go to "Habitat Stamps & All Other Licenses" and look at the numerical code next to the deer app down below like mine says:

2016 - 490 RES DEER APP

It will be 591 if you drew as a non-res and 590 if you drew as a res. I hope not all the results are in because it's showing me as a non-draw. On a related note my sheep/goat refund showed up yesterday.

Awesome! I'm a Wasted State Alum myself, haha. Good luck on the plains muley, I've always wanted to check that out. The deer hunting just isn't the same down here after the '07-08 and the '10-11 winters. They have also restructured many of the units for opportunity over trophies, you know the story.

Funny, I put in knowing I had less than a 25% chance of drawing and was content with those odds at the time, but now that I didn't draw I'm pretty bummed! I will probably divert that muley enthusiasm/time/$ to Wyoming instead.
